Rating Scales
Rating scales can be taken by the student, teacher(s), and/or parent(s). Rating scales have statements and the rater has to rate the frequency, intensity, and/or duration of the behavior in the statement. This gives information about the child from various perspectives and in different situations, which is very beneficial. Some common rating scales are the Conners 3rd Edition (Conners 3), the Attention Deficit Disorders Evaluation Scale-3rd Edition (ADDES-3), and the Attention Deficit Disorders Evaluation Scale: Secondary-Age Student (ADDES-S).
